This role supports a multi-entity healthcare services platform that includes Elevate Respiratory Therapy Group and Horizon Wound Care Group, ancillary service providers to skilled nursing facilities throughout the United States. The Accounting Manager / Controller will work directly with the CFO and have primary responsibility for managing the accounting function, financial reporting, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives across multiple entities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who wants to help build and scale a high-growth healthcare organization. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across multiple entities Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Prepare and oversee consolidated financial statements in accordance with

U.S. GAAP

Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and cash management processes Supervise, mentor, and develop offshore accounting staff and future accounting team members Coordinate annual financial statement reviews and serve as the primary liaison with external CPAs Strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures as the organization scales Lead budget preparation, forecasting, and rolling cash flow projections Run point on our ERP transition from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite Leverage AI tools, including Claude AI, to improve accounting workflows, reporting, and analysis Partner with operational leadership to support strategic growth initiatives and decision-making Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 6+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior experience supervising accounting staff preferred Healthcare, post-acute care, or skilled nursing experience is a plus CPA license strongly preferred NetSuite experience preferred Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting Location Hybrid position based in either San Clemente, CA or Valencia, CA (3-4 days per week in office).
