Accounting Manager Foxburg Hospitality & RiverStone Estate Hybrid / Remote-First | Periodic Travel to Foxburg, Pennsylvania Required Foxburg Hospitality is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to support a growing portfolio of hospitality and lifestyle businesses in Foxburg, Pennsylvania. We currently own and operate a growing collection of active businesses, including a boutique hotel, winery, pizzeria / trattoria, retail businesses, and events-oriented hospitality assets. These businesses are at the center of our effort to strengthen Foxburg as a more vibrant hospitality destination, with improved financial reporting, operating visibility, and accounting discipline playing an important role in that growth. In addition, our team is developing Six Senses RiverStone Estate, an ultra-luxury resort and residential destination planned for Foxburg, Pennsylvania. While the immediate focus of this role will be the existing Foxburg businesses, the position also offers exposure to the financial infrastructure behind a major luxury hospitality development. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who is excited by hands-on operating-company accounting, multi-entity reporting, and the chance to help professionalize the finance function behind a growing hospitality platform. Location This is a hybrid, remote-first role . The candidate does not need to be based in Foxburg full-time, but must be able to travel to Foxburg, Pennsylvania periodically to work with the operating teams, review property-level financial processes, support on-site needs, and build familiarity with the businesses. Candidates based in Western Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus, Akron, Canton, Youngstown, Erie, or other locations with reasonable access to Foxburg are encouraged to apply. Position Overview The Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager will support accounting and financial reporting across multiple active hospitality businesses, with additional exposure to development-stage real estate projects. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment where systems, processes, and reporting are still being built and improved. This person should be willing to roll up their sleeves while also helping ownership and leadership create more disciplined financial reporting, controls, and operating visibility. Hospitality experience is strongly preferred, particularly in hotels, restaurants, wineries, events, retreats, weddings, retail, or multi-unit operations. Experience with real estate development accounting or project cost tracking is helpful, but secondary to strong operating-company accounting experience. Key Responsibilities Manage monthly close processes across multiple operating entities Prepare financial statements, management reports, and ownership-level reporting packages Oversee or support AP, AR, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, cash management, and general ledger activity Maintain accurate books for hospitality operations, including hotel, food & beverage, winery, retail, and events-related revenue streams Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow tracking, and variance analysis Monitor operating costs, labor costs, departmental expenses, inventory-related items, and vendor payments Coordinate with property-level managers to improve financial discipline, coding accuracy, invoice flow, and reporting consistency Work with outside CPA firms, tax advisors, payroll providers, and other third-party service providers Help improve accounting systems, internal controls, reporting processes, and financial workflows Support development accounting as needed, including consultant invoices, pre-development costs, project budgets, capitalized costs, and draw / funding support Assist ownership and leadership with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and decision support Qualifications 5+ years of accounting, finance, or controllership experience Hospitality accounting experience strongly preferred Experience with hotels, restaurants, wineries, clubs, retail, events, retreats, weddings, or multi-entity operating businesses preferred Strong understanding of month-end close, financial statements, reconciliations, AP / AR, cash management, and general ledger accounting Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems required Familiarity with hospitality PMS, POS, payroll, expense management, inventory, or reporting systems is a plus Strong Excel skills and ability to work with financial reports, budgets, and operating data Experience with real estate, construction, or development accounting is a plus, but not required CPA, CPA-track, or public accounting background is a plus, but not required Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple entities and priorities Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with ownership, operators, outside advisors, and vendors Comfortable in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment where the role will include both execution and process improvement What Makes This Opportunity Unique Opportunity to help professionalize the accounting and finance function for a growing hospitality portfolio Involvement with active Foxburg businesses across hotel, food & beverage, wine, retail, events, and destination experiences Direct interaction with ownership and senior leadership Ability to shape accounting systems, reporting processes, and controls as the platform grows Exposure to Six Senses RiverStone Estate, an ultra-luxury resort and residential development in pre-development Long-term career growth potential as the Foxburg Hospitality and RiverStone platforms expand Compensation $110,000 to $125,000 commensurate with experience, plus benefits and meaningful long-term growth potential.
