Job Description

Accounting Manager, General Ledger (Hybrid) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager, General Ledger to lead the close process and oversee general ledger activities across multiple entities. This role will manage a team, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance with GAAP while driving process improvements in a dynamic, multi-entity environment. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including review of journal entries and account reconciliations Supervise preparation of financial statements and management reporting Manage and develop the GL team, including performance evaluations and goal setting Review and analyze account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Perform P&L variance analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controls Oversee consolidations and intercompany accounting, including eliminations Review intercompany transactions, royalties, commissions, and bonus calculations Support revenue recognition (ASC 606) and debt compliance schedules Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Tax Drive process improvements and support audit activities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required (MBA a plus) 5+ years of public and/or corporate accounting experience 2+ years of leadership experience CPA preferred Experience in multi-entity and/or multinational environments strongly preferred Skills & Expertise Strong knowledge of GAAP Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Proven ability to lead and develop teams Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) Work Environment Hybrid schedule (minimal in-office requirement) Benefits Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Generous PTO and paid holidays Disability and life insurance Parental leave and employee assistance programs Additional voluntary benefits IND4
