Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description Jamie Benway with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Tualatin, Oregon. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, including Accounts Payable and Credit specialists.
• Oversee and ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain compliance and improve efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Monitor financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards in all accounting operations.
• Support audits and provide necessary documentation to external auditors.
• Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency within the accounting department.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
