Audit Staff

Job Summary A Japanese-affiliated accounting and advisory firm is seeking a bilingual Audit Staff professional to support attestation and non-attestation engagements for a diverse client base. This position will work closely with senior team members and clients to ensure efficient communication and accurate execution of audit and accounting services. The role is responsible for supporting audit engagements while also assisting with bookkeeping, payroll, tax-related services, and other consulting support activities. Responsibilities and Duties Execute day-to-day activities for attestation and non-attestation engagements across various client accounts Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to senior staff, managers, and partners Support process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives Coordinate with U.S.-based and Japan-based clients to facilitate smooth communication and information flow Interact directly with clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of engagement-related information Assist with non-attestation services including bookkeeping, payroll processing, miscellaneous tax support, and other consulting-related services Apply and follow established audit methodology and internal procedures Qualifications Business-level Japanese language proficiency required Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with eligibility to sit for the CPA exam Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks accurately and efficiently Comfortable working collaboratively within a team environment Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing situations Experience or willingness to support bookkeeping and other accounting-related services Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail Ability and willingness to travel as needed •For more openings and job-hunting tips, please visit: stsccareer.com

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
