Assistant Vice President, Capital Markets- Remote Role Overview Our client, a growing real estate investment manager with an established track record is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Capital Markets to play a role in scaling its distribution platform. The firm has historically raised capital through direct relationships and is now expanding into the RIA channel via a scalable, open-ended investment structure. This individual will be a key driver of that initiative, with the opportunity to help build and grow a durable capital base over time. The AVP, Capital Markets will be responsible for: Leading capital formation efforts with a focus on Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) Designing and executing a scalable distribution strategy for an open-ended investment vehicle Building and managing relationships across RIAs, multi-family offices, family offices, and broader wealth platforms Origination and execution of new investor relationships, with accountability for capital raised Partnering closely with Investor Relations to deliver an institutional-quality, high-touch investor experience Advising on product structuring, positioning, and go-to-market strategy Representing the firm externally through meetings, conferences, and ongoing relationship management Contributing to the long-term buildout of the firm's capital formation function The AVP, Capital Markets should have: 5+ years of experience in capital formation/rasising, fundraising, or distribution A proven track record of raising meaningful capital (ideally $50M+ annually) Demonstrated success in the RIA channel (not solely institutional fundraising experience) Established relationships across RIAs, family offices, MFOs, and/or wirehouses Strong understanding of real estate and/or alternative investment products A history of originating and closing investor relationships, not just maintaining them Ability to operate effectively in a growing, entrepreneurial platform Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with a sophisticated, demanding investor base High level of initiative, ownership, and a proactive, builder-oriented mindset
