Job Description
A renowned Fort Lauderdale based large yacht management firm continues to seek top professionals that strive for results driven exceptionalism in an environment of mutual support, well-being and great fun! We have a staff of forty amazing professionals with an international clientele. This position welcomes individuals with a positive, collaborative, good nature while also being dedicated to accuracy and completeness in their work. The Client Accounting Manager is a key member of our exciting Client Services Accounting team, responsible for the full-cycle financial administration of assigned client accounts. The role oversees day-to-day accounting processes and supporting staff, with responsibilities spanning accounts payable, banking and reconciliations, seafarer payroll administration, monthly financial reporting, funding requests, annual budgeting and variance reporting. Working closely with our clients, yacht teams and internal departments, the Client Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring financial activities are completed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with established procedures and reporting deadlines. In addition to the above, the position requires: 1. Desire to be key contributor to the firm's success. 2. Success in leading and supervising accounting staff members. 3. Having a positive and collaborative manner with other accounting team members and inter-departmental managers while reporting to the Department Manager and the Executive team. 4. Bachelor's Degree in accounting or at least three years experience as an accountant. 5. Full cycle accounting experience. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
