Job Description

About Us We are a rapidly growing organization focused on helping commercial truck dealerships, transportation companies, and equipment buyers streamline the financing process through innovative technology, lender relationships, and finance expertise. Our team works with dealerships, lenders, and transportation businesses throughout North America to improve financing outcomes, increase approval rates, and deliver a better customer experience. We are seeking an experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our team and help support dealership partners, assist end-users, structure transactions, secure financing approvals, and maximize finance and aftermarket opportunities. This is a office position based in the Chicago area, offering dealer interaction, and occasional travel. Position Overview The Commercial Truck F&I Manager will be responsible for reviewing credit applications, structuring transactions, communicating with lenders, obtaining approvals, coordinating funding requirements, and supporting dealership personnel throughout the financing process. In addition to supporting dealership partners, this position will work directly with owner-operators, small fleets, and transportation companies seeking financing solutions for commercial trucks and equipment. This role is ideal for someone with experience in commercial lending, equipment finance, truck financing, leasing, dealership F&I, or business-purpose lending who enjoys solving credit challenges and helping customers secure financing solutions. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze commercial credit applications and supporting documentation. Structure financing and leasing transactions for commercial trucks and equipment. Submit transactions to banks, captive lenders, finance companies, and leasing organizations. Negotiate approval terms and funding conditions with lending partners. Work directly with dealership personnel to improve approval rates and funding efficiency. Assist end-users with financing options and transaction coordination. Present financing options and related products when appropriate. Present warranties, service contracts, maintenance programs, and other aftermarket products using advanced digital sales technology. Build complete lender-ready credit packages. Coordinate all documentation and funding requirements. Monitor transactions from application through funding. Maintain compliance with company, lender, and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with lenders, dealers, customers, and industry partners. Utilize technology platforms and digital tools to improve transaction flow and customer experience. Identify opportunities to expand relationships with dealers, lenders, and transportation companies. Qualifications Required Minimum of three years of experience in commercial finance, equipment finance, commercial lending, leasing, transportation finance, or dealership F&I. Strong understanding of commercial credit and underwriting fundamentals. Experience working with banks, finance companies, leasing companies, or commercial lenders. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and web-based technology platforms. Preferred Commercial truck dealership experience. Experience financing Class 8 trucks, vocational trucks, trailers, or heavy equipment. Existing relationships with commercial truck dealerships, transportation companies, owner-operators, fleets, banks, finance companies, leasing organizations, or industry vendors. Experience developing new business opportunities and managing customer relationships. Experience with warranties, service contracts, maintenance programs, or other aftermarket products. Understanding of transportation businesses, owner-operators, and fleet operations. Why This Opportunity Is Unique Unlike traditional F&I positions, this role combines commercial finance expertise with modern technology that helps streamline deal structuring, lender submissions, and aftermarket product presentations. You'll have access to tools designed to improve efficiency, customer engagement, and overall sales performance.

Candidates with established relationships within commercial truck dealerships, transportation companies, equipment finance organizations, or commercial lenders are strongly encouraged to apply. Existing industry relationships are not required but will be considered a significant advantage. What We Offer Competitive compensation package. Performance-based bonus opportunities. Finance reserve and aftermarket income opportunities. Professional development and industry training. Opportunity to work with leading dealerships and lenders nationwide. Career advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing organization. Supportive, entrepreneurial culture focused on innovation and growth. Who Will Succeed in This Role The ideal candidate is driven, organized, and relationship-focused. You enjoy structuring deals, solving credit challenges, and helping customers and dealerships achieve successful financing outcomes.

If you are looking for an opportunity to combine commercial finance expertise with a growing technology-driven platform serving the transportation industry, we encourage you to apply.
