Job Description

Epic Project Manager - Patient Access & Front-End Revenue Cycle Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid) | Tri-State / Local Candidates $55-$70/hr | 6+ Month Contract-to-Hire Opportunity Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Epic Project Manager to support a large-scale Epic-to-Epic migration for a leading academic medical center and integrated health system. This enterprise-wide transformation initiative will align an external Epic environment with the organization's standardized Epic platform across multiple hospitals and care settings. The selected Project Manager will lead initiatives focused on Patient Access, Scheduling, Throughput, and Front-End Revenue Cycle Epic applications. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the region's largest healthcare technology transformation programs and play a key role in a high-visibility Epic migration. Location Remote; Occasional meetings in Philadelphia, PA Candidates must reside within the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware Tri-State area Compensation $55-$70/hr depending on experience 6+ month contract with strong potential for extension or permanent hire Epic Workstreams Supported Cadence Campaigns Hello World Prelude Grand Central Transfer Center Environmental Services (EVS) Patient Transport Bed Planning Responsibilities Lead Epic implementation, migration, optimization, and integration projects across Patient Access and Front-End Revenue Cycle workstreams Manage project schedules, deliverables, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies Collaborate with operational leaders, Epic application teams, technical resources, and executive stakeholders Facilitate project governance meetings and executive status reporting Support workflow design, testing, training, cutover, go-live, and stabilization activities Ensure alignment with enterprise Epic standards and organizational goals Drive issue resolution and coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle Required Qualifications 5+ years of Project Management experience within healthcare IT Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, optimizations, or Epic-to-Epic migrations Experience supporting Patient Access, Scheduling, Registration, Throughput, or Revenue Cycle initiatives Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills Experience managing timelines, risks, dependencies, budgets, and executive communications Experience working within large health systems or academic medical centers preferred
