This position reports to:
HUB Controller-Americas __ Serving as a key partner for the local Operations P&L Manager of the Electrification Services division, the Finance & Accounting Manager for Data Centers and Advisory will be a vital member of its finance team in the United States. You will help to set business strategy in line with wider division and product group strategies. In this role you will provide key support to the business, ensuring accurate tracking and processing of all transactions. You will translate business strategy into plans and establish measurable targets, evaluate the financial implications of various strategic decisions, identify risks and recommend actions. This position is open to remote candidates located within the United States (#LI-Remote).Key Responsibilities:
Contributes to the definition of the strategy for the Field Service Region focusing on Data Centers and Advisory customers. Serves as the key partner for the relevant business leader in determining strategy for area of responsibility, aligning with wider strategy, and implementing actions as needed. Translates strategy into business plans and establishes measurable targets. Oversees the business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility and serves as the interface of the plant to Global Product Group Controller/Division Controller/Operational Manager and others. Monitors progress and provides insight and analysis to support operational decision-making. Identifies issues and advises management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve. Identifies and communicates commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions. Establishes and oversees processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information. Ensures high quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.Qualifications for the role:
A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar Candidates should bring a mix of accounting, finance, mergers & acquisitions, P&L ownership/support, and/or controllership experiences in order to best serve the stakeholders in this position and be able to assist in capitalizing upon a growing market 12+ years of experience in the above mentioned functions Experience with ERP (SAP strongly preferred) Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to multitask Competitive, strong leadership, attention to detail, self-critic, and excellent customer service attitude Candidates must already possess authorization to work for ABB in the US.
