Collaborative environment with leadership that values accuracy, consistency, and communication What You'll Do This role owns the finance process end-to-end — ensuring clean, accurate, and timely financial data that supports strong decision-making and company growth. This is a hybrid position . During initial training (approximately 90 days), the role will be fully in-office to support hands-on learning and collaboration. Once fully trained, the role transitions to 3-4 days per week in the office , with flexibility to work remotely the remaining days. Occasional additional in-office time may be required during month-end close or key business periods. Financial Operations & Accounts Payable Ownership Own day-to-day financial operations with accuracy and discipline Fully own the Accounts Payable process end-to-end Manage AP inbox and ensure all bills are received, processed, and coded correctly Execute bill pay (checks, ACH, online payments) Monitor job costs and ensure all expenses are assigned correctly Maintain vendor relationships and documentation Identify and improve financial workflows and processes Cash Flow, Accounts Receivable & Payroll Support Provide backup coverage for Accounts Receivable as needed Support deposit accuracy and cash visibility Assist with payroll coordination and time entry review Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues Track quarterly incentives and employee-related financial items Financial Reporting, Systems & Month-End Close Maintain clean, organized, audit-ready financial systems Support month-end close and financial reporting Maintain weekly finance snapshot and issue tracking Ensure financial data is complete before job close Perform data analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities Compliance, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Maintain vendor documentation (W-9s, insurance, licenses) Support audit, tax, and insurance documentation Collaborate with leadership and Fractional Controller Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements Act as a proactive operator who ensures nothing falls through the cracks What You Bring 2+ years finance/accounting experience (AP/AR/payroll) 3+ years QuickBooks Online experience Construction or restoration industry experience preferred Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Highly organized and process-driven Strong communication and follow-through Self-starter who takes ownership Passion for clean data and operational excellence Ready to Apply?
