Finance Systems & Process Manager Req #2379 Oil-Dri Corporation of America, 410 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, Illinois, United States of America Apply Share Job Description Posted Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 1:00 AM Role Overview The Finance Systems & Process Manager will oversee Oil-Dri's financial systems and support process improvement across Accounting and Finance. This role serves as the primary liaison between Finance and IT, supporting system access, ensuring system reliability, data integrity, compliance, and expanding automation. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of accounting knowledge, ERP expertise, and technical problem‑solving skills, as well as a passion for modernizing finance through technology. Hybrid role based out of the Chicago office. Monday - Wednesday onsite required Key Responsibilities Take full responsibility for maintaining, administering, and supporting all financial systems within the finance department, including ERP and related financial applications (e.g., JDE, OneStream, Concur). Serve as the primary contact for troubleshooting financial system issues, collaborating with technical support teams as needed, while developing long-term solutions. Support financial systems compliance with U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX), and other applicable regulatory requirements, and serve as a key point of contact for internal and external audits related to financial systems. Review and monitor system access, security roles, and segregation of duties. Partner with Finance and Accounting to design, maintain, and enhance financial reports, dashboards, and analytical tools, as well as assist in evaluating reporting accuracy. Lead functional testing for system upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations, including creating and maintaining user acceptance testing (UAT) plans and testing scripts Partner with Accounting and Finance to Identify, design, and implement system enhancements and automation opportunities. Liaise with Data Analytics team to develop the data layer and connect financial systems to the data layer. Assist as functional expert on Artificial Intelligence implementation Act as the primary liaison among Finance, IT, and other business teams to support cross-functional systems initiatives. Develop and deliver training programs to promoting end user self-sufficiency. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and best practices. Business Applications Analyst Qualifications Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field required. CPA and/or Master's degree preferred. 5-10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, including hands‑on ERP or financial systems administration. Experience with JDE required. Experience with Microsoft Office desired. Experience with OneStream desired. Prior project management or team leadership experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial close processes, and internal controls. Experience supporting SOX‑compliant financial systems. Proficiency with Excel and ERP reporting tools; SQL experience preferred. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
