$60,000-$180,000+ per year | Performance-based during the Financial Professional stage About the Opportunity New York Life is seeking experienced professionals interested in building a career in financial services with a path toward leadership and management. This opportunity may be a strong fit for professionals with backgrounds in management, business ownership, financial services, banking, insurance, sales, business development, account management, or other client-facing roles. The career begins as a Financial Professional , where you develop a client-based practice and help individuals, families, and business owners identify financial goals and develop personalized strategies. As applicable licensing and eligibility requirements are met, professionals may also expand into investment solutions through NYLIFE Securities and advisory and financial-planning services through Eagle Strategies. Candidates who meet applicable production, licensing, leadership, and other requirements may pursue New York Life's Accelerated Path to Management . Career PathPhase 1 - Financial Professional As a Financial Professional, you will: Build and develop a client-based practice Establish long-term relationships with individuals, families, and business owners Identify client needs and develop personalized financial strategies Develop business through networking, referrals, prospecting, and relationship building Build knowledge across insurance, financial services, investments, and planning as applicable to licensing and career path Develop the business and leadership skills needed for future advancement Compensation during this stage is performance-based and commission-driven , with earnings tied to individual production and business development. Phase 2 - Associate Partner / Management Financial Professionals who meet applicable production, licensing, leadership, and other qualification requirements may be eligible to pursue the Associate Partner management path. Associate Partners focus on recruiting, coaching, developing, and leading Financial Professionals. The Associate Partner salary range is $60,000-$150,000 , with additional eligible bonuses and performance-based incentives. Long-term management opportunities may continue through Partner, Senior Partner, Executive Partner, and Managing Partner. Who We're Looking For We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in: Management or team leadership Direct sales or business development Business ownership or entrepreneurship Financial services, banking, wealth management, or insurance Account or relationship management Recruiting, coaching, or employee development Candidates with an advanced degree or meaningful experience in management, direct sales, or business ownership may be considered for the Accelerated Path to Management based on applicable eligibility requirements. Bachelor's degree preferred. Financial-services experience is valuable but is not required for candidates with strong transferable leadership, sales, business, or relationship-building experience. Licensing & Prior Experience Financial-services licensing is required to perform the role; however, candidates do not need to be licensed at the time of application . For candidates entering the industry, New York Life provides licensing guidance, study support, and reimbursement for required licensing expenses. Candidates who already hold credentials such as Life, Accident & Health, SIE, or other applicable insurance or securities licenses and registrations are encouraged to apply. Previous industry experience and existing credentials are reviewed individually, so candidates transitioning from another financial-services or similar role may have a different licensing or onboarding process based on their background and applicable requirements. Individual earnings vary based on production and business development, with uncapped earning potential. Candidates who qualify and transition into Associate Partner move into a salaried management compensation structure of $60,000-$150,000 , plus eligible bonuses and incentives.
