POSITION OVERVIEW
Serve as a strategic business leader and architect of financial excellence, leading a team of FP&A professionals to drive value creation through sophisticated financial planning, analytics, and cost center management. This role will shape and execute financial strategy while serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership in support of Ralph Lauren's sustainable profitable growth objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership Responsibilities:
Serve as the enterprise financial leader for the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process , providing strategic oversight, financial governance, and executive decision support across the end‑to‑end cycle, with clear ownership of global inventory, merchandize financial plan and long‑range demand outcomes. Establish and own financial governance for IBP, setting enterprise standards, decision rights, and escalation mechanisms to ensure disciplined, value‑based outcomes Lead financial alignment of IBP outputs with enterprise financial targets, forecasts, and strategic plans in close partnership with Regional Finance and senior Supply Chain and Commercial leaders Drive integration between financial forecasts, operational plans, and the Long‑Range Demand Plan, ensuring consistency across near‑, mid‑, and long‑term planning horizons including risks and opportunities. Own the financial integrity of the Long‑Range Demand Plan, translating multi‑year demand assumptions into actionable financial projections, investment requirements, and risk assessments Own global inventory financial performance, providing strategic oversight of inventory planning, forecasting accuracy, and deployment decisions across regions and channels Guide enterprise trade‑offs across service, growth, margin, and cash objectives, ensuring inventory and demand decisions optimize working capital and long‑term enterprise value Provide senior‑level oversight of working capital performance through the IBP cycle, balancing inventory investment, service levels, and cash flow priorities Sponsor advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, and analytics for Demand and Inventory Planning, ensuring leadership has clear visibility to financial implications, risks, and opportunities Estimated to be 80% of role. Lead and develop a team responsible for cost center control and financial planning for Product / Merchandising team including: Design, Merchandising, Planning (IBP), Sourcing, Brand Image, Product Development etc.
- Establish the strategic direction for cost center management and financial planning processes
- Act as a key strategic partner to Global Leadership Team members on cost management and optimization
- Drive transformation initiatives to optimize financial processes and systems
- Design and implement innovative financial control frameworks
- Lead the integration of AI and advanced analytics into financial processes

Team & Operational Leadership:
Build and mentor high-performing finance teams Develop innovative reporting solutions and dashboards for executive decision-making Drive cross-functional initiatives with IT, Analytics, and Business teams Drive cost optimization strategies across the organization Share best practices across the FP&A global team
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of progressive finance experience with 5+ years in leadership roles Track record of building and developing high-performing teams Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities Understanding of IBP processes and systems Experience in supply chain finance and operations Experience in leading transformation initiatives Advanced financial planning and analytics expertise Proven ability to influence at senior leadership levels Experience with SAP, BI tools, Planning tools and financial systems Understanding of AI applications in finance
