Manager of Financial Reporting Compensation:
$150,000–$170,000
Location:
Orlando, FL Candidates must reside in or be within commuting distance of the Greater Orlando area. About the Opportunity A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Manager of Financial Reporting to oversee external financial reporting, consolidated financial statements, and audit coordination. This leadership role works closely with executive leadership, Finance, and Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting while supporting strategic business initiatives and regulatory compliance. This position is well suited for a CPA with a strong public accounting and corporate reporting background who enjoys technical accounting, financial statement preparation, and leading high-impact reporting functions. U.S. GAAP
Manage the external audit process and serve as the primary point of contact for independent auditors Prepare technical accounting memoranda and provide guidance on complex accounting matters Review financial reporting packages to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting requirements Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and executive leadership to support reporting needs and strategic initiatives Research new accounting standards and assist with implementation across the organization Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, including direct oversight of a Senior Accountant Identify and implement process improvements that enhance reporting efficiency and strengthen internal controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required Active CPA license required Six or more years of progressive accounting experience Public accounting experience required; Big Four or large regional audit firm experience strongly preferred Experience preparing financial statements within public accounting or a corporate financial reporting environment Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, external financial reporting, and audit processes Experience preparing technical accounting memoranda is preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship Benefits & Career Growth Hybrid work schedule with remote flexibility two days per week Medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings program Generous paid time off and company holidays Tuition assistance and ongoing professional development Clearly defined path for advancement into senior leadership Strong work-life balance outside of quarterly and annual reporting cycles If you're a CPA with a passion for financial reporting, technical accounting, and leadership, this is an outstanding opportunity to make an impact within a respected healthcare organization while positioning yourself for continued career growth. #LI-KJ1 #
