Schroll@RobertHalf com. Robert Half is partnering with a respected healthcare organization in search of a Revenue Cycle Director to lead and elevate all aspects of the revenue cycle function. This leadership role will oversee billing, reimbursement, accounts receivable, denial resolution, cash applications, collections, and related operations to support financial health and long-term performance.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience leading revenue cycle strategy within a healthcare setting, with a focus on process improvement, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and team development. This person will work closely with finance, clinical, operational, and technology leaders to improve cash flow, strengthen controls, and optimize reimbursement outcomes.

This person will work closely with finance, clinical, operational, and technology leaders to improve cash flow, strengthen controls, and optimize reimbursement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership across core revenue cycle operations, including billing, claims, denials, A/R, collections, and cash postingMonitor and improve key performance indicators such as collections, denial trends, reimbursement turnaround, and A/R agingUse reporting and analytics to identify performance gaps, reduce revenue leakage, and implement corrective action plansPartner cross-functionally to improve charge capture, coding accuracy, encounter closure, eligibility verification, and authorization workflowsEnsure compliance with payer rules and applicable federal and state regulationsOversee audits, internal controls, policy development, and process standardization across the revenue cycleLead optimization of Epic and other revenue cycle technologies to improve efficiency and reportingManage, mentor, and develop revenue cycle staff, including financial counseling and patient assistance support functionsStay current on reimbursement changes, payer trends, and industry best practices impacting healthcare revenue operationsOur client offers a hybrid work model once up and running (3-6 months or so), a comprehensive benefits package, 403B contribution, and strong paid time off policy.
