Position Summary The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end revenue cycle function across the organization. This role oversees a team of approximately 10 staff across Coding, Billing, Payment Posting, and Customer Service, ensuring consistent processes, high performance, and a strong patient experience. The ideal candidate is both a strong operational leader and people manager, able to drive process improvement, create alignment across the team, and develop team members while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all aspects of the revenue cycle. Leadership & Team Management Lead, manage, and develop a team of approximately 10 staff across Coding, Billing, Payment Posting, and Customer Service Establish clear expectations, roles, and performance standards across the team Create consistency in processes and workflows across all offices Foster a collaborative, accountable, and team-oriented environment Provide coaching, feedback, and development to support individual and team growth Align the team around shared goals, priorities, and a common purpose Monitor performance and address gaps proactively to ensure high-quality outcomes Build a team culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and a shared commitment to patient and organizational outcomes Core Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end revenue cycle function, ensuring alignment, consistency, and performance across all areas Maintain and apply knowledge of coding and billing best practices and standards Analyze denials, refunds, and trends to drive improvements and reduce revenue leakage Ensure compliance with current coding guidelines and communicate updates to staff and leadership Monitor and manage team performance, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and accountability Ensure timely and accurate processing of patient payments through effective team oversight Generate and present month-end reporting and insights to leadership Manage clearinghouse processes and resolve issues proactively Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness Investigate and resolve billing and collection issues Establish and monitor quality metrics and report on performance improvements Partner across the organization to support operational and growth initiatives Position Requirements Strong understanding of medical billing and coding, including clearinghouse, EFTs, EOBs, and ERAs Proven leadership and team management experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access) Experience with Epic EMR and Availity Clearinghouse preferred Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality Bachelor's degree preferred
