Job Description
Ability to frame a complex problem, solid analytical skills, and intellectual curiosity are key to success within our team. Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience. This role follows a hybrid work model and is based in Redmond, Washington. Employees are expected to work on-site in Redmond on a regular, recurring basis in alignment with business and team needs. Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR equivalent experience. 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles. 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization. 1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry. Collaborate with Windows Data on deriving insights into Windows Ecosystem Long Range Planning, partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Business Planning to ensure alignment on product roadmaps, pricing actions, and financial assumptions. Evaluate initiative performance relative to expectations and communicate gaps and opportunities to product teams Consolidate metric and financial reporting for monthly business reviews with engineering leadership Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, tools, and reporting to increase accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.
