Job Description:

Senior Manager, Real Estate Finance Our client is hiring for a newly created leadership role - Senior Manager, Real Estate Finance. This position is a hybrid schedule in Los Angeles.

Salary:

$160,000 - $175,000 Key Responsibilities Lead monthly portfolio-level financial reporting and analytics. Lead the review of monthly property financials across a large real estate portfolio. Lead property level budgeting and forecasting process, including coordinating with asset managers, department heads and other key stakeholders. Support annual audit process - including coordination with external CPAs. Develop reporting materials that help senior leadership evaluate portfolio performance and make informed decisions. Improve financial reporting processes, controls, and consistency across the portfolio. Review property and portfolio performance data to highlight financial trends, potential risks, and operational improvement opportunities. Review investment-level analyses, including cash distribution calculations and partnership waterfall models. Partner with lenders, investors, and external stakeholders on property-level financial reporting and related questions.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required - Accounting/Finance or related; CPA a plus Proficiency in Excel and data/BI tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI) Public accounting background strongly preferred 10+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, development analytics, or related fields Advanced analytical skills, including forecasting, market analysis, and data-driven decision-making Proven ability to communicate insights and present to senior leadership Experience leading teams and working cross-functionally with finance, operations, and real estate
