This is a high-impact, highly visible leadership role for someone who is confident in their technical accounting abilities and fully immersed in the world of construction finance. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who understands that construction accounting is more than numbers—it's job costing, WIP management, revenue recognition, and delivering accurate financial insight that drives real business decisions. High-visibility leadership role supporting the executive team across 65+ entities Compensation range: $100,000-$120,000, depending on experience Direct leadership opportunity with oversight of a small accounting team Exposure to large-scale construction and infrastructure projects Collaborative, cross-functional environment with strong internal partnerships Stable, financially strong organization with aggressive growth trajectory Full-time, permanent position Key Responsibilities of theAccounting Manager:
Lead the month-end and year-end close process with accurate, GAAP-compliant financial reporting Oversee general ledger activity, including accruals and detailed job cost accounting across multiple projects Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and consolidated financial reporting across a multi-entity structure Direct all construction accounting operations, including project setup, budgeting, cost tracking, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition Review and approve key construction documentation such as draws, lien waivers, and retainage schedules Oversee accounts payable processes, vendor relationships, and cash flow planning in a project-based environment Support treasury operations, including banking relationships and intercompany funding needs Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to support continued growth Ensure compliance with tax requirements and support external audit processes Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff to support performance and professional growth Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability Qualifications of theAccounting Manager:
