Summary:
The Finance Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the financial activities of the company. This individual will be responsible for guiding financial decisions, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management. The Finance Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Prepare and review financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans to support informed decision-making by the executive team. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Financial Reporting:
Generate accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other ad hoc financial analyses. Present financial results to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Financial Modeling:
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and long-term financial planning.Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.Cost Management:
Analyze and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining a high level of quality in operations.Business Partnering:
Collaborate with various departments, providing financial insights and guidance to support their operational and strategic objectives.Financial System Management:
Oversee the implementation and enhancement of financial systems to streamline processes and improve accuracy and efficiency.Work Experience, Education, and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA designation is a plus. Proven experience (5+ years) as a Financial Analyst or similar roleKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards. Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects effectively Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
