Corporate Accounting Manager - PlayCore PlayCore - 3.7 Chattanooga, TN Job Details 5 hours ago Qualifications Accounting systems Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Summary The accounting manager is a member of the PlayCore corporate accounting team. The position is focused on maintaining the accounting records for the PlayCore corporate entity, month-end close, forecasting and budgeting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Promote the Company's mission and values-based culture through daily interactions within the department as well as collaborating with other groups Manage corporate month-end close processes and ensure journal entries and transactions are performed according to schedule The accounting manager will be focused on continuous improvement and finding ways to reduce administrative work for themselves and the corporate accounting team while maintaining a high level of accuracy and adhering to schedules Coordinates the annual corporate forecast and budgeting processes Supervises one accountant within the corporate accounting team Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor Education and/or Experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required Five years of experience in an accounting department preferred Familiarity and experience with large company close deadlines and schedules Experience with annual forecasts and cost center budgeting Travel Travel not expected at this time but may be required at a later date Computer Skills Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Microsoft D365 experience preferred, large Enterprise ERP system experience required Other Skills Continuous improvement mindset and track record of successful improvement projects PlayCore and its family of brands considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, marital or veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
