Job Description
A great UHY client is seeking a Sr Controlling Analyst . The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, cost accounting experience, and strong financial analysis skills. The Sr Controlling Analyst role is an onsite position. This is a direct hire position. Sr Controlling Analyst Responsibilities Support financial planning, analysis, and controlling activities for a manufacturing operation. Analyze financial results and prepare reports related to income, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and key performance indicators. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end financial reporting processes. Support cost accounting activities, including standard costing, manufacturing cost analysis, and variance reporting. Analyze actual costs and provide meaningful insights into operational and financial performance. Partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to support business decisions and improve financial results. Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives and track financial impacts. Assist with the development and implementation of financial processes, controls, and reporting procedures. Support special projects and provide financial analysis for strategic business initiatives. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies. Sr Controlling Analyst Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in finance, controlling, cost accounting, or a related field. Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive manufacturing. Strong cost accounting knowledge and experience analyzing manufacturing costs. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting experience. Understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and internal control concepts. Experience supporting plant operations and partnering with operational leadership. SAP experience is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and business partnering abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
