Overview Quickbooks Invoice deposits Reports office management We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented QuickBooks Supervisor to lead our accounting team in managing financial operations with precision and confidence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the full spectrum of bookkeeping and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial processes. As a key leader in our finance department, you will leverage your expertise in various accounting software and financial concepts to support organizational growth and stability. Responsibilities Supervise daily bookkeeping activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance using QuickBooks and other accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or Quicken. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining accurate records. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Prepare detailed financial reports, including income statements, cash flow statements, and budget analyses to support strategic decision-making. Manage payroll processing, tax filings, and governmental accounting requirements with precision. Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Lead the team in implementing best practices for double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation to uphold financial integrity. Experience Proven experience working with QuickBooks as a primary accounting software platform; familiarity with Quicken, Sage, Xero or similar tools is highly desirable. Strong background in corporate accounting with knowledge of non-profit or governmental accounting standards preferred. Demonstrated expertise in financial concepts such as debits & credits, account reconciliation, account analysis, budgeting, and technical accounting procedures. Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes along with bank reconciliation tasks. Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll and other financial reporting obligations. Ability to interpret complex financial data accurately while maintaining attention to detail in high-pressure environments. Excellent communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating effectively within teams.
