Job Description

P23 Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to maintain accurate financial records, manage transactions, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate has experience with Sales Tax compliance, accounting software, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Perform general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Prepare financial reports in accordance with GAAP. Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow management. Support budgeting, monthly P&L, and cost control initiatives. Ensure compliance with Sales Tax filings and reporting.
Qualifications:
Proven bookkeeping/accounting experience with double-entry bookkeeping knowledge. Experience with Sales Tax compliance and reporting. Knowledge of QuickBooks Online is a plus. Strong Excel skills (including 10-key). Knowledge of financial concepts, account analysis, and GAAP standards. College degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
Budget planning, monthly P&L, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reporting. Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
