Job Description
Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong inventory and cost accounting experience who enjoys working closely with operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in manufacturing accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis, while also helping improve processes and operational visibility across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Assist with inventory accounting, valuation, and reconciliations
- Support cost accounting processes including variance analysis and standard costing
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
- Partner with operations and plant leadership to improve financial visibility
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls
- Assist with audit support and financial documentation
- Help improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 3-8+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing or inventory-based environment
- Experience with inventory and/or cost accounting required
- Strong understanding of month-end close and reconciliations
- ERP system experience required (SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, NetSuite, JDE, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Compensation:
- Base salary around $100K
- Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis This is a fully onsite opportunity based in Carrollton, TX.
