Job Description

First Texas Bank is seeking a dynamic Assistant Banking Center Manager role for our Georgetown location.

What you will be doing:
Assistant Banking Center Managers are the bank's front-line service personnel, working directly with customers to process deposits and withdrawals, provide account information, and answer questions about bank policies and banking products. ABCMs also support banking activities through active security and cash management procedures, including balancing cash drawers and depositing cash into the bank's vault. Additionally, ABCMs drive customer engagement and support other departments by cross-selling bank products and services to customers. In addition, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Greet customers in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Assist with customer service activities such as direct deposits/inquiries, address changes, bag pick- ups, statement inquiries/prints/pick-ups/holds, closed accounts, temporary checks, account inquiries, transfers, check orders, issue instant issue debit cards, re-pin debit cards, place stop payments on items, online banking enrollments and maintenance resets, questions, etc.
  • Answer questions in person or on telephone and refers customers to other bank services as necessary.
  • Locating and resolving Personal Banker outages.
  • Provide support to the operations team (questions, customer situations, cash buys/sells, review staff productivity, etc.).
  • Open new accounts, certificate of deposits and safe deposit boxes.
  • Issue and maintenance debit cards.
  • Rotate to other branch locations if needed. Who will be a good fit for this role:
  • Education - High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • One year customer service experience in financial services (banking), including teller and new accounts
  • Previous cash handling experience
  • Ability to adhere to schedule without tardiness
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work past normal business hours as necessary
  • Must be able to pass a thorough background screening, including a credit check Some of what we can offer you:
