Job Description:
We're working with clients in the Dallas area who are looking for experienced Accounting Managers to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, reporting, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Manage month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting Review general ledger activity and ensure accuracy of financial statements Oversee AP, AR, billing, payroll, or other accounting functions as needed Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Partner with operations, finance, and leadership on accounting-related matters Train, mentor, and review work of accounting staff Support audits, tax requests, and special projects as needed Required Qualification Accounting Degree 5+ years of accounting experience Prior Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller, or similar experience Strong month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting background Experience reviewing accounting work and managing deadlines Strong Excel skills Good communication and organizational skills
