Summary :
Manager of Financial Reporting and Analysis will be responsible for overseeing, completing, and reviewing internal and external financial statement creation/reporting and leading/managing the audit process for one of the nation's leading pediatrics health care systems, including joint ventures and affiliates. The successful candidate is a detail oriented, meticulous and experienced accounting leader, who functions well in a highly independent role involving managing monthly close, internal and external reporting, research and implementation of new accounting standards and acts as a technical accounting resource for the organization.
Responsibilities:
Manages monthly close, internal and external reporting, research and implementation of new accounting standards, acts as a technical accounting resource for the accounting department, and coordinates as the main contact, external benefits audit and external annual audit. Responsible for internal and external reporting requirements of the organization and monthly, quarterly, annual close. Maintains knowledge of general ledger and operations of he organization needed to provide useful information to leadership related to financial performance. Maintains knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) including technical research and preparing memos supporting accounting positions. Will lead a small team of GL accountants and act as a leader across the accounting department.
How You'll Be Successful:
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 7 years in Accounting and financial reporting; either public accounting or a mix of public accounting and industry experience required At least 2 years In healthcare setting preferred
EDUCATION
Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Accounting or related field required Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience Accounting or related field preferred
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
