Summary of the Role The Senior Section Manager, Corporate Accounting, is responsible for leading M&A integration activities from an R2R (Record to Report) perspective. This role ensures seamless financial integration of acquired entities within the organization, overseeing accounting processes, compliance, and reporting standards. The position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex accounting projects with a focus on operational excellence. Essential Responsibilities
  • Manage projects and assignments of moderate scope related to M&A integration and R2R processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Analyze diverse factors impacting integration activities, exercise sound judgment within established procedures, and proactively resolve straightforward issues as they arise.
  • Drive cost management initiatives, identify opportunities for process improvement, and lead small-scale local projects to support business objectives.
Other responsibilities Accountability Operate with general guidance on routine work, demonstrating independence in decision-making within the corporate accounting function. Make informed choices that affect the function's performance, with a clear focus on optimizing costs and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Champion best practices and contribute to the enhancement of accounting integration frameworks. Relationship Focus Build and maintain productive working relationships with cross-functional teams, business partners, and external stakeholders. Facilitate the exchange of complex accounting and integration information both internally and externally, ensuring transparency and alignment. Actively network with global colleagues to share knowledge and foster collaboration in support of integration goals. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated expertise in corporate accounting, with a growing depth of knowledge in M&A integration and R2R processes. Ability to interpret and apply company policies, and strong cost awareness in decision-making. Excellent communication skills. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, with direct involvement in M&A integration and R2R activities. Proven track record of managing moderate scope projects and leading teams in a multinational environment. Expected Salary Range $88,000.00 - $154,000.00 The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
