Overview:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the corporate accounting function, including ownership of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes. This role will oversee general ledger activities, financial statement preparation and review, consolidations across multiple legal entities, and the accounting and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience 3 years of Audit experience is required Must have advanced Excel skill Requires a hands-on leader who can manage the end-to-end financial close while collaborating effectively with shared services, finance, operations, and business leadership. Related experience in the healthcare industry is preferred Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting Experience managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, cutoff, and elimination entries Experience partnering with AP teams and overseeing the accounting impact of AP, employee expenses, vendor management, and payment processes; Concur experience preferred Strong understanding of internal controls related to financial reporting, AP, vendor management, expenses, and payments
