Corporate Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller Southwest Houston | 100% In-Office Our client is a growing, globally recognized manufacturing and engineering company with approximately $120 million in annual revenue . As the organization continues to expand internationally, they are seeking a talented accounting leader to join their finance team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious CPA who enjoys technical accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement while partnering with operations around the world. Position Overview Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position will oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, treasury activities, audit coordination, tax compliance, and internal controls across multiple domestic and international entities. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening financial processes while supporting continued global growth. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages. Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and supporting analyses. Ensure compliance with IFRS and corporate accounting policies. Oversee general accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions. Drive month-end close improvements and streamline accounting processes. Partner with domestic and international business units to improve reporting consistency and financial controls. Coordinate annual external audits and support tax compliance activities. Assist with treasury management, cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and lender reporting. Support acquisitions, financial due diligence, and integration activities as the company continues to grow. Develop, document, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Mentor and develop accounting staff while serving as a collaborative business partner across the organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA designation strongly preferred. 5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience. Public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional firm) is highly desirable. Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS. Experience with both IFRS and
U.S. GAAP
is preferred. Experience preparing consolidated financial statements for multi-entity organizations. Experience working within global or multi-currency environments. Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, audits, and treasury functions. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple countries. Limited international travel as needed.
