Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Finance Manager / Business Manager for a growing government services and digital innovation organization. This highly visible role will support financial operations, forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, project financials, and strategic business initiatives for a rapidly expanding business unit. Working closely with executive leadership, this individual will help drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and support innovative solutions for government clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background, excellent business acumen, and an entrepreneurial mindset. This opportunity is ideal for a Finance Manager, Senior Financial Analyst, Project Controls professional, or Business Manager looking to broaden their impact in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Day-to-Day:
- Manage the financial operations of a rapidly growing digital innovation business unit
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, project financial performance, invoicing, and cash management
- Monitor project costs and provide financial insights to leadership
- Support proposal development, pricing efforts, and business growth initiatives
- Conduct investment and business case analyses for emerging technologies and initiatives
- Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and executives to drive strategic decisions
- Interface with customers and support business development activities
- Assist with subcontractor and vendor-related financial activities
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and process improvements

https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- 5-7+ years of experience in Finance, Project Controls, Business Operations, Program Finance, FP&A, or Business Management
- Strong financial management experience including forecasting, cost management, invoicing, cash flow tracking, and project financial oversight
- Experience supporting government contracting, aerospace, defense, engineering, infrastructure, or similar project-based environments
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (active clearance preferred but not required)
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated initiative and ownership mentality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with executive-level presence
- Experience working cross-functionally with operations, finance, customers, and leadership
- Self-starter capable of identifying inefficiencies and driving process improvements Willingness to travel periodically to support customers and business initiatives
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with pricing, proposals, subcontractor management, or contract support
- Background with defense contractors such as BAE, Northrop Grumman, Huntington Ingalls, shipyards, or similar organizations
- Experience in a fast-growing business unit or entrepreneurial environment
- Exposure to digital transformation, technology innovation, infrastructure, environmental, or engineering-focused programs Prior international customer support or business expansion experience
