Responsibilities What You'll Do:
+ This position will be responsible for conducting the more technical accounting activities. Participate in developing and interpreting financial policies and regulations; analyze and provide technical interpretation of accounting and regulatory changes. Research and monitor financial data to ensure data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for the preparation and analysis of the Company's quarterly and annual SEC filings on Forms 10-Q and 10-K, Form 8Ks that include financial results, and responses to SEC comment letters. Respond to internal/external inquiries regarding financial data reported or filed.
+ Coordinate and oversee external audits and reviews. Manage communications with external auditor on external financial statements and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with Company decisions on accounting disclosures and issues.
+ Supervisor, mentor and train the SEC team along with planning, organizing and directing activities.
+ Assist in the preparation of internal management reporting in connection with the quarterly filings.
+ Lead preparation of financial material used in communications to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and Senior Management covering accounting issues to enable decision making.
+ Participate as member of Disclosure Committee.
+ Provide professional technical accounting guidance to Senior Management with regard to interpretation and analysis of financial programs, regulatory or policy changes. Maintain knowledge of ongoing external trends in the financial area. Prepare in-depth analysis of financial data due to regulatory/policy changes.
+ Provide on-going advice on accounting issues to all levels and areas of the organization.
+ Review of new contracts for compliance with revenue recognition guidance.
+ Review and update internal controls, including SOX, as necessary.
+ Establish and update accounting policies as necessary.
+ Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
+
Education:
+ BS Accounting/Finance +
Certifications/Licenses:
+ CPA - active license holder. +
Experience:
+ 8-10 years of previous Public Accounting experience or equivalent industry experience with at least 2 years experience managing a team. + Solid knowledge of
U.S. GAAP
(Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
+ Previous experience in preparing quarterly/annual SEC filings.
+ Familiarity with a financial system is a strong plus (Hyperion, HFM, SAP.)
+ Knowledge of International Financial & Reporting Standards (IFRS). +

+ United States citizenship, required. +

+ Proficient in the use of computers and computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Hyperion. +
Technology:
+ Company-issued computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.

+ The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
+ USD $ $125,000 - 155,000
+ Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
