Serves as Grant Finance Manager for Research & Development (R D), with responsibility for managing the full grant lifecycle for research studies. This role supports proposal development, measures compliance with sponsor and regulatory requirements, monitors grant performance, and partners with clinical, research, finance, and administrative leaders to advance the organization's mission and strategic priorities. This role supports proposal development, measures compliance with sponsor and regulatory requirements, monitors grant performance, ensures financial integrity and partners with clinical, research, finance, and administrative leaders to advance the organization's mission and strategic priorities. Evaluate grant opportunities partnering with research managers and R D leadership Analyzes financial impact of proposed contracts and recommends execution. Directs and/or provides support for grant applications, including budgets, timelines, narratives, and other required information Manage and develop sponsor relationships Establishes and monitors financial metrics and prepares budget variance and other financial analyses. Work collaboratively with clinical research teams to ensure the financial integrity of research studies Oversee post-award grant management, including award setup, reporting deadlines, participant data accuracy, allowable cost monitoring, documentation, and compliance with sponsor requirements Analyzes operational issues affecting R D and determines financial impact, including making recommendations to meet strategic project goals. Expected to be a decision-maker and problem solver; able to find unique and efficient ways to solve difficult and complex problems. Generate and evaluate financial reporting. Work collaboratively with R D teams to assess financial performance. Provides financial education to designated areas. Maintains effective working relationships with principal investigators, clinicians, and operational and finance leaders to support strategic goals. Supervises financial staff as assigned and provides education and training for staff. What We Require:
Education:
College graduate with degree in accounting, finance or business administration. Masters degree in business administration or related field desirable. Experience:
Three to five years experience in healthcare finance, accounting or financial planning. Licensure/Certifications/Registration:
