Description Elevate the Financial Strategy for Global Entertainment Powerhouses Are you a strategic financial wizard ready to drive insights across Prime Video, Amazon Music, Twitch, Audible, and Amazon Games? We're seeking a dynamic Finance Manager who will transform complex financial data into compelling business narratives that shape leadership decisions. Key job responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial models and conduct strategic analyses that illuminate business performance and potential growth opportunities
- Manage and report on headcount and operating expenses with precision and insight
- Collaborate with business and finance leaders to deliver nuanced financial recommendations
- Create ad-hoc analyses that provide clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial reporting and strategic planning A day in the life Your day will be a blend of strategic analysis, collaborative problem-solving, and financial storytelling.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, or CPA
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
