Compensation:

$95,000-$115,000 base salary Position Overview The Accounting Manager will work closely with the Controller and oversee a variety of accounting functions, with a particular emphasis on manufacturing, cost, and inventory accounting. This individual will also provide leadership to one accounting team member and play an important role in maintaining accurate financial information and improving accounting processes. The company is currently undergoing a planned leadership transition within the accounting function, making this an exciting time to join the organization. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and financial processes Support month-end close and financial reporting Manage and analyze cost accounting activities Oversee inventory accounting and related reconciliations Prepare and analyze financial information for management Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies Supervise, support, and mentor one accounting team member Partner closely with the Controller and other members of leadership Ensure accounting records are accurate and maintained in accordance with company policies Assist with various accounting projects and initiatives as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Manufacturing accounting experience required Experience with cost accounting and/or inventory accounting Prior supervisory, management, or lead experience preferred Strong Excel skills Experience working with ERP systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities Why Consider This Opportunity?
