We are a well-established franchised new car dealership with a long-standing reputation for integrity and customer service. Our office team is the backbone of our operations, and we are proud to offer a stable, respectful, and supportive work environment. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Accounting / Office Manager to join our leadership team as we prepare to say farewell to a valued employee retiring after 45 years of exceptional service.
Position Summary:
The Accounting/Office Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient dealership operations. This position oversees accounting functions, payroll processing, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and familiar with the unique environment of an automotive dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger Supervise payroll processing and benefits administration Oversee HR duties including onboarding, personnel records, and compliance with employment regulations Prepare and review financial reports and month-end statements Coordinate with dealership departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting Maintain and improve internal controls and office processes Liaise with external vendors, auditors, and financial institutions
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
Accounting experience required Automotive dealership experience strongly preferred Proficiency in accounting software; familiarity with Auto/Mate or similar dealership management software is a plus Working knowledge of HR practices and payroll processing Excellent organizational and communication skills Proven ability to lead and manage an office team Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Why Join Us?
