Our team at the Arizona Department of Transportation (AZDOT) is seeking a dedicated Accounting Specialist to join our Financial Management Services. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a vibrant city known for its sunny weather and stunning desert landscapes. Job Overview This full-time, onsite position involves assisting in the collection of receivables, managing transactions, and performing various accounting functions. You'll be working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, communicating with both internal and external customers through phone calls, emails, and letters. Your role will include processing credit card and check transactions, managing bank levies, bond claims, and more. You'll also be responsible for validating, recording, and reporting all revenue, as well as writing and maintaining desk procedures. Requirements
Collections Experience
High School Diploma
100% onsite presence required
Security clearance required
