Position Summary Our client company is seeking an experienced Finance Specialist / Assistant Manager to support financial accounting and closing operations. This position will play an active role in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and requires hands-on accounting experience, including the ability to review and validate Trial Balance (TB) accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ERP-based accounting processes, with manufacturing industry experience preferred. Key Responsibilities Perform and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities. Review and verify Trial Balance (TB) accounts and identify discrepancies requiring adjustment or reconciliation. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Support general ledger accounting and ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR) activities as needed. Monitor and reconcile financial accounts and maintain accurate accounting records. Assist with financial reporting and analysis of account balances and variances. Support preparation of financial documents and schedules for external financial audits. Coordinate with internal departments to obtain necessary information for financial closing and reporting. Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and applicable financial reporting requirements. Required Qualifications 3-5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience. Hands-on experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing. Ability to review, reconcile, and verify Trial Balance (TB) accounts. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting. Proficiency with accounting software and/or ERP systems. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities during financial closing periods. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in cost accounting and cost analysis. Experience supporting external financial audits. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
