Finance & Accounting Specialist:

Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice processing, vendor maintenance, reconciliations, and scheduled check runs Serve as the primary contact for vendors and program staff regarding invoices, payments, and contracted services Prepare monthly journal entries, perform general ledger reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting Support audits, including petty cash audits, annual client fund audits, and the annual fiscal audit Provide backup payroll support (UKG preferred) and manage credit card reimbursements and annual 1099 processing What You'll Need as a Finance & Accounting Specialist 6 months to 1 year of Accounts Payable experience required Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred (experience may substitute) Strong understanding of bookkeeping functions and computerized accounting systems Experience with payroll systems (UKG preferred) or strong aptitude to learn Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive financial data Who You Are as a Finance & Accounting Specialist Committed to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines accurately A clear and professional communicator who can confidently interact with vendors and internal teams Comfortable working independently while also collaborating as part of a supportive finance team Someone who enjoys a weekday schedule with evenings and weekends free
