Job Description

This position serves as the sole financial specialist for the Office of Early Education (OEE), including Childcare Licensing, Child Development and Care, Great Start to Readiness Program, Early On, Early Childhood Special Education & Family Services. This position is an expert for OEE budgets and is responsible to develop, track, monitor, and report on the Office's annual operating budget. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining annual spending plans, formulating payroll projections, preparing and presenting budget to actual reports. Position Description This position generally requires the education acquired through through the possession of a bachelor's degree in any major with at least 12 semester (18 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: accounting, finance, or economics and four years of professional experience equivalent to a Financial Analyst; including two years equivalent to a Financial Analyst P11, Accountant P11, or Auditor P11 or one year equivalent to a Financial Analyst 12, Accountant 12, or Auditor 12. Specific information on the education and experience required for the position is in the job specification for the Financial Specialist class. Degree certificates are not accepted. When attaching transcripts, please name the college/university for each transcript attached.
