The Assistant Chief Financial Officer (Assistant CFO) supports the Chief Financial Officer in the financial leadership, operational discipline, and long-term sustainability of the hospital. This role plays a critical part in translating financial strategy into execution, strengthening financial controls, and ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent financial information to support decision-making across the organization. The Assistant CFO is both a strategic partner and hands-on leader, working closely with operational leaders to improve financial performance, reinforce accountability, and support continuous improvement across the hospital. All other duties as assigned. Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and operational finance. Strong understanding of hospital financial operations, reimbursement models, and regulatory requirements. High level of financial acumen paired with practical, operational thinking. Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly and credibly to clinical and operational leaders. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. All other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field required. Masters Degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, with healthcare or hospital experience required. The incumbent will assist in the clarification and development of process improvements and inquires, assure payments related to patient services from all sources are timely recorded and reconciled in order to maximize revenues. Other important duties include credentialing, enrollment processing and reporting. The Billing Specialist is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate Degree in medical record technology, anatomy, and/or physiology preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years medical billing experience including knowledge of billing related reporting is required. This includes working with the medical payers including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance. Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding. Job Summary:
Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Security Supervisor, the Security Officer ensures the RMCHCS properties are safe and secure for all patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and visitors. In addition, the Security Officer protects and safeguards the RMCHCS facilities against unauthorized entry, trespassing, pilferage, theft, intentional or accidental destruction or damage, or any other dishonest or illegal act. The Security Officer is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year security work preferred. Active duty in military, armed services and/or minimum of one (1) year law enforcement is preferred. Required Licensure/Certification(s): Valid drivers license and eligibility to be insured under RMCHCS vehicle liability policy is required. Certifications in Crisis Prevention (CPI), Taser, Healthcare Defensive Tactics, Handcuffing Tactics, Baton and Pepper Spray Defense are required. If certifications are not current upon hire, it must be obtained when training becomes available.
