Job Description Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Finance Vendor Management Specialist to join our Finance Operations team. As a Finance Vendor Management Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate setup and ongoing maintenance of SAP Business Partner accounts. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support efficient vendor onboarding and maintenance while upholding internal controls and compliance standards. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to internal stakeholders.

Our business, your impact, our opportunity: What you'll be doing: Process and maintain Business Partner setup and change requests submitted by cross-functional business teams, including Claims, Operations, Finance, Agency Management, and others as needed. Support electronic payment requests by managing the bank verification and setup process. Develop, update, and maintain process training guides and standard operating procedure manuals. Ensure compliance with documented processes and controls, supporting audit activities as needed. Respond promptly to inquiries from Finance and other cross-functional teams, ensuring accurate administration of requests. Collaborate on projects requiring Finance Vendor Management support, contributing expertise and insights. Provide guidance and training to junior team members, fostering their professional development. What you'll bring: Minimum of 2 years of finance or administrative experience in a fast-paced corporate environment; insurance industry experience is a plus Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel, is required Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is highly desirable Strong initiative, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and a strong commitment to customer service Attention to detail and accuracy Problem-solving and critical thinking skills Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
Salary Range:
$55,000- $75,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
