Job Description

Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00
PM Pay:
$20-$22/hr 100% on-site, Rochester, NY area This role is ideal for someone with experience in accounting support, payroll processing, accounts receivable, or financial operations who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and keeping deadlines on track. You ll work closely with an established team handling invoicing, reconciliations, cash movement, and reporting tied to client accounts.
What you ll be doing:
Prepare and reconcile weekly funding activity including invoices purchased, accounts receivable, and reserve balances Build and validate Excel/CSV files for system imports Enter invoice and financial data accurately across multiple systems Process ACH and wire transactions while meeting banking deadlines Generate A/R aging and supporting financial reports Research and resolve discrepancies with internal team members Maintain organized, audit-ready records Assist with improving workflow efficiency and day-to-day processes What they re looking for: Associate s degree in Accounting or related experience Strong Excel skills Experience with one or more of the following: Accounts receivable Accounts payable Payroll processing Payroll tax support Cash posting or reconciliations Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working in a fast-paced office setting Team-oriented with solid communication skills
Preferred:
Factoring industry experience Financial operations or payroll support experience This is a full-time, Monday-Friday opportunity with a collaborative team and consistent daytime schedule.
