Job Description
PacifiCorp seeks a Valuation Finance Specialist to support investment, rate, and regulatory decisions for its electric grid and renewable portfolio. In this role, you will build detailed financial models, perform DCF and asset valuations, and analyze capital projects, acquisitions, and divestitures. You will prepare valuation reports and presentations for senior leadership, partner with engineering, operations, and regulatory teams, and ensure compliance with utility and FERC-related standards. Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed financial and valuation models for utility assets and projects. Perform discounted cash flow, asset, and portfolio valuations to support investment and rate decisions. Evaluate capital projects, acquisitions, and divestitures, providing clear financial recommendations. Analyze financial statements and key performance metrics for Pacifi Corp's generation, transmission, and distribution assets. Prepare valuation reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leaders and regulatory stakeholders. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to gather assumptions and validate models. Support regulatory filings and rate cases with robust financial and valuation analysis. Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses on fuel prices, load growth, and regulatory changes. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and relevant utility regulations. Contribute to continuous improvement of valuation methodologies, tools, and data quality.
