Description The Deputy Treasurer assists the County Treasurer in directing and administering the operations of the Treasurer's Office. This position is responsible for assisting with the management of personnel, overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing quality customer service. The Deputy Treasurer performs the duties of the County Treasurer in the Treasurer's absence as authorized.
- Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills - both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and establish effective working relationships with coworkers, county departments, financial institutions and the public.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel expertise preferred), Adobe, online banking, integrated/automated accounts payable, and computerized financial management systems.
