We encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply. Job Description DMS is seeking a Corporate Finance and Payroll Specialist to join our corporate team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable, and financial reporting. Additionally, the candidate will assist with corporate operations and help ensure accuracy and efficiency across financial processes. Responsibilities Maintain and track the company budget; monitor actuals vs. forecast and report variances Support financial reporting and assist with preparation of internal reports Manage billing, accounts receivable, and collections tracking Process accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, and payment tracking Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy of employee pay and deductions Perform general ledger entries and monthly account reconciliations Support month-end and year-end close processes Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and basic accounting standards Assist with audit requests by gathering and preparing required documentation Work with internal teams to resolve billing, payroll, and payment-related issues Identify and suggest improvements to accounting and financial processes Required Skills & Experience Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills Two or more years of experience in accounting, payroll, or finance-related roles Experience with accounts payable, payroll processing, and reconciliations; Familiarity with Deltek & Costpoint is a plus. Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred) Familiarity with technology applications is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Good organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and take initiative Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university MBA/CPA preferred Position Type Part-time Consultant Location Remote
