Join our team as a Data Quality Engineer (Financial Specialist) and play a pivotal role in enhancing data quality and observability across our systems and platforms. This fully remote position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and make a significant impact. Responsibilities Design and implement automated data quality and observability monitors to ensure data integrity. Configure monitoring systems to track data freshness, volume, and schema changes. Investigate alerts and perform root cause analysis to resolve data quality issues. Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to address and prevent data issues. Apply observability techniques to AI and ML pipelines, ensuring data consistency and reliability. Manage and resolve data quality incidents efficiently using established workflows. Work with Data Governance and Business Data Stewards to align technical controls with standards. Skills Minimum of 4 years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data quality roles. Proficient in SQL with experience handling large datasets. Hands-on experience with data observability platforms. Strong analytical skills for effective root cause analysis. Experience in regulated environments, particularly with financial data. Preferred Skills Experience in supporting data quality for AI/ML or advanced analytics. Familiarity with data lineage and governance platforms. Exposure to CI/CD or automated testing patterns for data pipelines.
