This position is scheduled to work 16 hours per week. This position is headquartered at the Hill Farms State Office Building in Madison, WI, and allows the option to work remotely after an initial training period. All employees are generally expected to be headquartered and work within the State of Wisconsin. This position will be required to come into the office for training, meetings and/or operational needs. This topic will be discussed more at the time of the interview. DSPS is a great place to work! Position Summary This Financial Specialist position processes refunds and related financial transactions, maintains accurate financial records, and prepares reports. This position works extensively with the state financial systems (PeopleSoft/ STAR) and the department computer systems for credentialing (LicensE), plan review (eSLA) and databases. This position is also expected to interpret agency policies, procedures, and guidelines regarding allowable department expenditures and use this knowledge to respond to inquiries from internal customers, conduct research, resolve issues and prepare reports. Salary Information This position is in schedule-range (02-11) with a salary of $22.76, per hour.
